Randi Crumrine To All Instructors

Randi Crumrine has taught a variety of courses at HSP during the past 11 years including history, literature - Lord of the Rings, Narnia, and even some science and Hebrew before joining the Brain Bridges team 6 years ago.  She is excited to be returning to HSP after a two year break and looks forward to working with students again as an NILD Cognitive Therapist.  Her goal is to encourage students to develop Godly character and strengthen the skills they need to fulfill the plans God has for them.   

Randi earned her BS in Education (K-8) from Gordon College and taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade prior to becoming a parent. She has been married to Jeff Crumrine for 42 years, and homeschooled their nine children for most of that time. They have lived in the Norfolk - Virginia Beach area since 1999.  For the past few years they have enjoyed hosting some Airbnbs and welcoming people from near and far.  They also enjoy spending time with their grown children, 7 of whom are local - and their (almost) ten grandchildren who they can't see often enough.    

Favorite activities include biking, swimming, camping, reading, gardening and just relaxing.  There are so many places to relax.... on her porch with coffee or a friend, a book at the beach, in a hammock preferably near water, or in a kayak.  Jeff and Randi are also pursuing language study in Hebrew, Norwegian, and Spanish in anticipation of travel someday.  In the meantime, they can travel the world with books (and YouTube).
