CHA Activities

CHA Activities are a great way to stay connected with your fellow CHA members and help you make new friends. We offer many activities. If you don't see what you're looking for in our current list of events, just let us know! We're always open to new ideas.

Park Days

Socialize at the park!

Weekly opportunities to meet in your neighborhood and enjoy the great outdoors. Check out the calendar!

We offer the following parties each year:

Fairs & Festivals

International Fest

Science Fair 

CHA's annual Science Fair is a fun and rewarding event. Participants complete a project on a scientific topic of their choice and present their work on a tri-fold board. A short, pain-free interview with two or three judges gives the children an opportunity to share what they have learned. The event concludes with an awards ceremony where all participants are recognized and the winners of each age category are announced. 

Art Fest

 

Teaching Co-ops

We currently offer enrichment classes in rotating subjects for K-12.  Classes are taught by parent volunteers.

 

Field Trips

We offer field trips for all ages at least twice per month.

Elementary/Tween Field Trips

Once a month fun activities targeting ages 5 through 12

Preschool Field Trips

Once a month activities targeting the interest of our little ones ages 5 and under

 

Special Events

Awards Night, Family Fun Day & Senior Graduation

 

Tweens

For Grades 6 – 8.  We get together once a month for a social activity.

 

Teens

Teens have one cool outing per month.

 

Boy/ Girl Scouts

We have founded a Cub Scout Pack and Girl Scout Troop.  There is also a BSA Troop for Boys and a BSA Troop for Girls.

BSA Venture Crew

We have chartered a Venturing Crew as part of our Boy Scouts of America association, co-ed for ages 14 – 21.

 

Scholarship

We offer one annual scholarship to a graduating senior to be used for further education.  You can contribute to the scholarship by donating on the home page.
