The Comedy of Errors
The World Stage Theatre Company, starring teenagers from the C-U homeschool community, proudly presents
The Comedy of Errors
by William Shakespeare.
Two sets of identical twins separated at birth. Events take them all to Ephesus, a city modeled on its New Testament description. Many confusions ensue due to each character getting tripped up by his preset notions. They need someone to straighten them out.
Usually I recommend you read the story ahead of time before seeing a Shakespeare play, but that won’t be necessary for this one. I’ll be telling the first part of the story from the stage at the beginning, and I expect children as young as six will enjoy the antics of these characters.
November 2 at 1 and 7 p.m. and November 3 at 7 p.m. Admission free of charge, but donations to cover costs are gratefully accepted.
