Basic Information
Co-Op Meets on WEDNESDAY
TUITION AND FEES
REGISTRATION FEE: Royse City Homeschool Academy has an annual non-refundable Family Registration Fee of $175 per family. This covers facility rental, insurance, teacher background checks, website and administration fees (not based on individual use).
REGISTRATION: Registration in classes is guaranteed ONLY with paid Family Registration Fee; however, classes fill on a first come, first serve basis. In the event that a class has a wait list, the teacher reserves the right to drop registered students whose registration fees have not been paid and move wait listed students into these spots. Please also understand if Class Supply Fees are not paid by July 31, 2026 your spot in the class is in jeopardy.
CLASS SUPPLY FEES: Supply fees are typically due twice a year and vary based on the individual teacher’s supplies and resources needed for the class. If you have any questions about supply fees, please contact your class teacher.
- We are currently collecting Class Supply Fees for the 2026 Fall Semester. Class Supply Fees are to be paid in full by July 31, 2026.
Class Supply Fees are to be paid to each individual teacher. (See teacher payment preference sheet)
CLASS TUITION: Monthly Tuition is due when classes begin in September and again on the first Wednesday of every month during the school year. Monthly Tuition is made out directly to each teacher. Tuition is to be paid via arrangements made directly through your teacher.
Monthly Tuition is the total cost of the class for the entire school year, broken down into 7 payments that are the same each month. It is not figured on a number of class days per month basis (e.g. some months will have more class days than other months)
ENROLLMENT STEPS
Registration Fee: Pay your Annual non-refundable Family Registration Fee by cash at one of our in person registration events or by check.
Registration for Classes: Sign up for classes through the website.
Class Supply Fees: Pay your Fall Class Supply Fees by July 31, 2026 (for the Fall Semester) via arrangements made directly through your teacher.
Class Tuition: Pay your Monthly Tuition on the First Wednesday of each month in September, October, November, January, February, March, and April. (7 payments total) via arrangements made directly through your teacher.
VOLUNTEER SERVICE HOURS
Parents are to serve a Weekly Service Hour during the school year. You get to choose which job you are assigned (most are assisting with a class) and work that job every week. Service hours are important to our students' and organizations’ overall success. We will have a list of volunteer positions available at our parent/teacher orientation event on August 26, 2026 for you to choose how you would like to serve your volunteer hour.
We depend on each family to fulfill their service hour. If you MUST be absent, we encourage you to find another parent to trade service hours with or cover for you. If no one is available, we can sometimes find someone for you, in a pinch. We need your help, so please do everything you can to either work your volunteer hour or find someone to cover for you.
If you cannot serve a Weekly Service Hour you do have the opportunity to buy-out your service hour for $400 for the year.
PARENT / TEACHER ORIENTATION
Families agree to attend MANDATORY Fall Orientation on August 26, 2026 at 10:30-12:30 at Fellowship Church, 900 Pullen St., Royse City, Texas 75189.
