The Christian home is the place where children receive the first
proclamation of faith. For this reason the family home is rightly called
“the domestic church”, a community of grace and prayer, a school
of human virtues and of Christian charity. - The Catechism of the Catholic Church.
The most basic element … is parental love,
which finds fulfillment in the task of education
as it completes and perfects its service of life. -
Pope John Paul II Familiaris Consortio
Parents have the first responsibility for the education of their children.
They bear witness to this responsibility by creating a home where
tenderness, forgiveness, respect, fidelity, and disinterested service are
the rule. The home is well suited for education in the virtues.
- The Catechism of the Catholic Church.
Hail Mary, full of grace.
Our Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
