**Chipola Home Educators (CHE)**, located in Jackson County, is a Christian homeschool support group serving families throughout the surrounding area. We welcome all homeschooling families who are willing to travel to participate in our activities. Enrollment is currently closed and will reopen in August at this time.

At CHE, our families embrace a lifestyle rooted in curiosity, growth, and a love of learning. We are not centered around any specific curriculum or teaching philosophy. Instead, we respect and support each family’s unique approach to home education, recognizing that parents are best equipped to determine what works for their children.

Our mission is to enrich the educational and social experiences of homeschooling families by providing encouragement, support, and guidance to parents.

What We Offer

CHE provides a variety of opportunities for connection, learning, and fellowship, including:

* Monthly field trips (both educational and recreational)

* Playdates for younger children

* Park days

* Teen-exclusive events

* Monthly enrichment classes

Our classes have included art, cooking, science experiments, and outdoor team-building activities. All events are posted on our private member calendar, and members have access to register for any event appropriate for their family. (Teen events are clearly designated to avoid confusion.)

Flexible Participation

One of the qualities that makes CHE unique is our flexibility. Families choose which events to attend by signing up through our private member website. There is no requirement to attend every activity on the calendar. For families choosing to attend monthly classes, parent participation is required in some capacity. Volunteer roles may include, but are not limited to, teaching, assisting instructors, providing security support, and helping with setup and clean-up.

In addition, CHE maintains a private Facebook group where members share ideas, encouragement, and event reminders.

Membership

Annual dues are currently $30 per family.
