Space...The Library’s New Frontier. Astronomy Exploration, a 4 WEEK PROGRAM at The Charleston Carnegie Public Library Tuesdays, April 2-23, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. (indoors for 30 minutes, then outdoors, weather permitting.) Learn to identify the most popular and easily identified constellations and bright stars and observe the Moon. We will begin with a 30 min indoor discussion followed by an outdoor session if weather permits. You may bring your own binoculars, flash light and a blanket to lie on. This program is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome, but those under 13 must have an adult present. The library will be closed during the last portion of the program, so dress for cooler temperatures. For further information, please call 217-345-1514.
