We are so pleased you are interested in becoming a part of our group!
We offer both academic and enrichment opportunities for our member families in a Christian environment. If you are seeking membership, please know that we often have a waiting list and accept new members in September and January.
Cedarwood Christian School* strives to glorify God in our support of parents as we train our students to become leaders who are passionate in their Christian faith, as we instill in them a desire for excellence in the academic disciplines, and challenge them to grow in the knowledge of the eternal purposes for which God created them.
Our mission at Cedarwood Christian School is to provide a Christ-centered environment that spiritually and academically equips, challenges and inspires students to impact the world for Christ.
CEDARWOOD CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
Our programs are designed to supplement and support the Christian family’s efforts in the education of their children. God’s Word, the Bible, is the foundational textbook and guide for life and for education. Cedarwood Christian School offers two programs for encouragement and support of local homeschooling families.
Administration Program: Students enrolled in the Administration program (K – Grade 12) are considered part of Cedarwood Christian School as private school students. Cedarwood Christian School is recognized by the State of New York as providing “substantially equivalent” education. CCS education provides solid academics, sound spiritual principles, and special attention to family and individual needs. The daily educational program is done at home with the parents overseeing the process.
Attendance, tests, papers, etc. are submitted to CCS in order to monitor progress. Report cards are issued, credits earned and records are kept by CCS. Administration students are required to attend Activity Day on Thursdays and to take yearly standardized tests. If you are interested in the Administrative Program, please call and speak with one of the administrative staff for more information.
Activity Day Program: Homeschooled students meet weekly on Thursdays and participate
with other homeschooled students in classes and activities that supplement their home
educational endeavors. Parents participate by serving in a variety of ways while enjoying
fellowship with other homeschooling families.
Whether you are new to homeschooling or have been homeschooling for years, CCS strives
to offer you support and fellowship as well as information and tools to assist you and your
family. We are glad you stopped by and would love to have you join us!
