Mrs. Cathy Arredondo To All Instructors

Cathy was born in a gold rush town in the mountains of north/central California. She has always had a love for literature, and as a kid she spent as much time as she could reading. In order to keep pursuing her love of reading, she majored in English with a concentration in Literature and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Fresno Pacific University. Cathy went on to teach High School English in the public school system in California, where she enjoyed learning to manage a classroom and inspiring students to read good literature. After moving to Minnesota with her husband and starting a family, Cathy was surprised to find joy and blessing in homeschooling her three children. She participated and taught in other homeschool co-ops, and she was blessed to become part of the WEST team in 2024 as an onsite point person for Tuesdays. Cathy is excited to teach Great Books at WEST where she will share with her students her love of literature and how God can use it to change lives!

In her free time, you will find Cathy hanging out with her family, reading a book, taking a walk, or helping lead worship at her church.
