First Class Clark County East (FC3E) is a Christian homeschool co-op that exists to support homeschooling families in Clark County. We focus on our ever-evolving community, providing opportunities to connect through co-op classes and special events throughout the year. Our mission is to provide a safe, Christ-centered place to grow the hearts and minds of homeschooling children and their parents.
Please read the following before you apply
One parent must attend Friday School for the entire time we meet. This "attending" parent must:
- Attend the entire Friday School day with their student(s) from 9 am to 12:45 pm each week.
- Complete a background check upon acceptance into our co-op
- Assist in (or teach) two classes (out of three) each semester. One of the three blocks is an off-block for parent fellowship.
- Sign up to clean after Friday School twice per semester for one hour (12:45 to ~1:45 pm, childcare is provided).
- Sign up to bring snacks or drinks for our parent-only break room twice per semester.
- Help with events, parties, and field trips when available.
Our membership fee is $100.00 per family, per year and is due before acceptance into our co-op and before class registration. Membership is paid through Firmly Planted Homeschool Resource Center. If you are a current member of FPHRC, your fee is considered paid as we are a program of the center. To become a member of FPHRC, follow the steps below.
STEP 1) Create a login here.
STEP 2) Go to your user dashboard and join the FPHRC group.

You will be asked to create a username and password below for using the member-only side of our website. Please make note of your username and password because you will need them to log in if your membership is approved. You will not have access to our member's site unless you are accepted into our Friday School.
Membership is limited to families who have at least one student in 1st grade or higher (age 6 or above by the beginning of Fall).
After receiving your application, we may contact you to schedule a quick interview. These interviews are a great way to make sure we are the right fit for you and ensure that your family is a good fit for the co-op. You will meet with two or more of our leadership team members at Firmly Planted Homeschool Resource Center OR by phone depending on the time of the year you apply. We are availabe to answer questions at fc3eregister@gmail.com.
Lastly, Filling out this application is NOT A GUARANTEE OF ENROLLEMENT into Fc3e Friday School Cooperative. We also cannot guarantee that we fill open spots in the order that applcations are recieved.
- We do our very best to accept as many families as possible. However, we have limited capacity for classroom space and teachers.
- We often keep families in our Friday School for a very long time- one of the reasons that makes our co-op so special! This means that we can not guarantee that we will have openings each semester. To maintain a strong sense of community, we operate best with a certain number of families total.
- In addition, sometimes we have specific age groups that are full, making it impossible to accomodate every child in your family at the same time. For example, we only offer one classroom for nursery, one classroom for preschool ages, and one classroom for Kindergarden. If one of these is full, we will not accept a family with a child in that age group.
- At times, we look at special circumstances for a family such as whether they have connections in the homeschool community, etc. We try to maintain a balance of current FPHRC families AND familes that may not have the ability to take classes during the week.
- Membership may be offered to families at different times throughout our registration process based on several factors (returning families, current members leaving, numbers of classes offered for certain ages, numbers and ages of children in an interested family, etc.).
**We hold a waiting list for families who are not able to join us but are still interested in participating. Filling out this application will officially act as entry to our "waiting list." This also does not mean guaranteed acceptance or order of acceptance, but instead is a way for us to maintain contact with and see infomation of interested families on our website.**
