AHA Heart Challenge
The American Heart Association will be kicking off the event from 1:30-2 pm for K-5 and then from
2:15-2:45 pm for 6-8 at Gorman Christisn Academy .
Gorman Christian Academy would like to invite our local homeschoolers to participate in the AHA heart challenge. We will kick-off the event/fundraiser on January 29. During the month of February, we will be learning about how to keep our hearts healthy, physically and spiritually. We will have some fun, fitness challenges, and hopefully raise some money for the American Heart Association. If you are interested in learning how you can participate, please contact Charity Dietlin Phelps at charityvn@outlook.com, and sign up on the website calendar by January 10th.
The Mission:
Kids will learn jump rope skills, how their heart works, and will raise money to help kids with special hearts, along with making a difference in the lives of others.
This will prepare your student for success through physical and emotional well being.
The AHA will provide shirts and materials for those participating, so please visit greatendeavorhomeschoolers.com and sign up on the calendar.
