The Truth About Homeschooling in Arizona
We have many families that take pride in making sure that they follow the Arizona law for homeschooling. We've added the information below for your review and we hope this will help answer any questions or concerns. If you still have questions, please let us know. If we don't have an answer for you, we will work to find one for you. We're all in this journey together and here to support and educate one another.
According to Joel Fischer, J.D.,Legal Assistant to Tj Schmidt, Esq., with Home School Legal Defense Association "parents must provide 50% of the teaching in their homeschool program. We require parental involvement, and if a parent has completely delegated educational responsibility to a nonparent, we point out that this is essentially private schooling, not homeschooling".
We pray that your homeschooling journey will bring glory to God in all of our efforts to support you in a parent-directed home education.
