Join us for the (somewhat) annual Ohio Valley Christian Home Educators' (OVCHE) Homeschool Workshop Day!
This event is FREE and open to the public! Whether you've been homeschooling for decades or have just started, there's something for you! Come to be inspired and encouraged by fellow homeschoolers! This is also a great opportunity for someone who is considering homeschooling to learn more about what it's all about.
The Workshop Day consists of hour-long sessions led by LOCAL homeschooling veterans from Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. There are multiple options each hour, with topics geared towards different interests (e.g. newbies, highschool, Dad's, etc.). See below and the attached schedule and session descriptions for more information. Please select a session choice for each hour from the drop-down menu provided at sign-up, to help us with planning (you are always free to change your mind).
Refreshments will be provided, but please bring a sack-lunch or plan to run out or order in. There are several fast-food, take-out, and delivery options near the church, such as Tokyo, Tina's Sweet Celebrations (bakery, soups & sandwiches), Arbys, Wendy's and Dominoes.
We will also be hosting a used curriculum sale at the same time/location. Please see the separate event entry to sign-up and get instructions for how to to sell your items. All attendees are welcome to shop (be prepared to pay with cash, checks, or PayPal).
* Please note: This is NOT a child-friendly event. Nursing babies are welcome, but no childcare will be available/provided. Children must be attended by their parents at all times and not interrupt the workshop sessions. We strongly encourage you to arrange for outside childcare so that you can get the most out of this event!*
