A Catholic Home School Support Group in Grand Forks, North Dakota and Surrounding Areas

Events & Activities

Saint Joseph Pillar of Families Catholic Home School Support Group is run entirely through the volunteer efforts of its members.

Saint Joseph Pillar of Families members are kindly asked to do three things:

1. Sign up for the website to provide and receive group communication.

2. Pay yearly dues (exemptions are provided when needed).

3. Volunteer to serve the group in some way.

If you plan to participate in activities, please plan to help in service in some way during the year and to financially contribute in the way of dues. (Service is optional during your first year of membership.) An inability to pay should not prevent a family from participating in the organization. Although most events and activities are self-funding, no one is turned away due to finances.

Each family who joins the group brings with them gifts and talents which can enrich the lives of others. The most visible way to volunteer is help organize an event or an activity, but there are many other ways to contribute. Maybe you have the gift of hospitality, or could place a group order for materials to provide a savings for the group. You might enjoy providing great information to share with others, bring children’s games to an event, or be a prayer warrior for the group. The Body of Christ is made of up of many members, each unique and made in the image of God. We welcome your active participation in the group and hope that you feel comfortable bringing ideas and suggestions to its leaders. New families are encouraged to spend some time getting acquainted with the workings of the organization and networking with other SJPF families. Please email saintjoepillar@gmail.com to obtain further information about homeschooling and joining our group.
