Janice Wallis To All Instructors

I am so glad to be a part of Home School Plus. I taught my own 4 children over a 28-year period, and then for the last 12 years I have taught professionally at private, Christian schools in Pre-K and Kindergarten. For 10 years I was a lead teacher at KPC Day School in Virginia Beach and developed an extensive, comprehensive Bible-centered curriculum that addressed all pre-K and Kindergarten academic, psycho-motor, and mental requirements. I concentrate on phonics, alphabetization, science, numbers, penmanship, and Bible. I love to use games and songs to enhance learning and retention.

I earned a Bachelors in Science from LABC, and took a fifth year of Education and did a teaching practicum from BIOLA university. I have maintained ACSI certification for the last 12 years, and keep current in all State requirements as well.
