I am a Christian Homeschooling Educator that has successfully homeschooled 4 children through high school graduation and college placement. HSP has been instrumental in our family's homeschooling curriculum for the past 15+ years. After our involvement with HSP, our eldest earned a PhD in Chemistry from Stanford. Our second son earned a BS from ODU, pilot licenses for planes and helicopters, and is working on his Masters Degree while employed full-time by Norfolk Southern. Our daughter earned a BA from Virginia Tech, is a part-time ski instructor and math tutor in Utah and is employed full-time by Dominion Resources. Our youngest is a Freshman at W&M.

While homeschooling, I started a business where I tutor high school students in upper level math, standardized testing and college applications. During the same time, I worked part-time as an Academic Dean at a private school and as a Teacher at HSP. I also started a rental business that includes 11 college student housing units and 2 Airbnb properties.

Prior to starting a family, I worked as a tenured teacher for Chesapeake Public Schools. I graduated from The College of William & Mary with a BA in History and a Certificate in Secondary Education for History and Mathematics. I have worked as an educator with several hundred families in the Hampton Roads area over the past 35 years. My husband is employed as an Environmental Engineer (PE Civil) at the Norfolk Naval Base and has coached Pop Warner Football and Little League Baseball for years. We are members of Larchmont United Methodist Church.
