Monthly Ladies' Meeting
CHEER's Ladies Meetings:
We meet at Highland Park Christian Church.
The address is 5708 E. 31st St. Tulsa, Ok. Look for the signs and greeters when you enter the main doors to the meeting room.
Meetings at the church are held the second Tuesday of the following months: August, October, February, and April. In the month of November is our Family-Wide Thanksgiving potluck, which we meet at the church as well.
The CHEER 101 Orientation for Visitors starts at 6:30pm prior to the Ladies Meeting starting at 7 pm.
*Each meeting has a special speaker, break out sessions, or mom panels on various homeschooling topics to learn from and share.
* The leader will be sharing from the book, Teaching from Rest, this year and valuable tools to help in the homeschooling journey.
*Ladies find these meetings to be encouraging, practical, and vital to their roles as home educators.
*Our ladies meetings are designed for ladies. We do want to include dads and do so by encouraging our membership to do the following: organize family events, dad events, support mom by coming to co-op and helping get kids to events, come to the co-op orientatoin, come to the college/high school/career informational meeting, and attend grad. meetings We do ask that when a dad is interested in planning a family/student activity, that he contacts the Steering Team to check the calendar and for approval.
Ladies evening fellowships
The fellowships are second Tuesday of the following months: September, January and May. Each month the place will be listed here as to where those are hosted. These fellowships are designed to help give ladies an evening to be uplifted, encouraged in homeschooling. Mom moms, or veteran moms shairng and lots of opportunity for the whole group to ask questions to others to learn and grow. This is a time for ladies to fellowship and relax!
The September fellowship will be in the upstairs meeting room at: All About Cha.
