We are a homeschool Christian cooperative that provides a variety of academic and extracurricular classes and/or opportunities, such as field trips, parties, Mom's night out, end of year program, youth social events, an active website with a forum, and many other benefits as determined by the membership from year to year. As fellow homeschoolers, we know of the great commitment and sacrifice that is required to homeschool. Our hope is that we can help ease each other’s burdens and offer lasting friendships and educational enrichment, along with other memorable events and opportunities.
Our cooperative membership is built on a foundation of voluntary service. Just as in the body of Christ, everyone plays a special role within a co-op. At HHE no one part is weaker or indispensable. We are unable to properly carry out daily functions of the co-op without help from each family. We ask that each member consider their particular talents, gifts, abilities and calling and provide service to the group, as they are able and feel led. As we work together, we can greatly enrich our children's education.
In accordance with HHE Bylaws, HHE is led by five board members, although all members are responsible for the success of the group. The role of the HHE Board of Directors is to guide, not govern, when possible. Therefore, every effort is made to minimize rules and regulations and allow members to operate using Godly principles and conduct in their participation in the group.
Our prayer is that HHE can be an asset to your family. May God bless your family in this challenging and rewarding endeavor of homeschooling. Please let us know if we can help you in any way.
