Registration Instructions

To register, please follow the instructions below

(1) Submit all  REQUIRED CLEARANCES

Your Family Account (see section 2 below) will not be approved until we have received and logged your clearances.  Clearances are good for 5 years from the date they obtained.  We need a copy of Child Abuse Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Waiver, please submit to [email protected]

(2) Create Family Account. 

 FAMILY ACCOUNTS MUST BE CREATED AT LEAST 72 HOURS BEFORE YOU PLAN TO REGISTER FOR CLASSES, to allow information to be received and manually approved.  

Each family must complete this form. At the top right of this site, there's an option to login, if you click on that, you can 'request membership in this organization.' That will take you to the family registration form. This section includes choosing whether pay the PALS Community Share Fee on a per family or per class basis, (b) providing contact and other information, and (c) agreeing to the PALS Enrichment terms and conditions. You will create an account on this site that gives you access to your account balance, registrations, directory, and announcements. 

Because of the way the website works, if you will be paying the membership fee per class ($45 per class hour) rather than $135 per family, your invoice will need to be adjusted manually. For this reason, your invoice may at first indicate $135 for the membership fee – rest assured that we will fix it before you need to pay!

(3)  Register for each class using the Class Grid

From the class schedule grid, found under class registration menu above, click on the name of the class for which you wish to register. The names of your children will show up on the right side. Click the name for who you would like to register and then click the register button just above the names.

LATE REGISTRATION: Class Registration closes about two weeks before the start of each term so that teachers know how many students to expect and can purchase supplies. The registration deadline for each term will be clearly posted on the website calendar and reminders will be sent out via email. Registrations after this date must be done through the registrar ([email protected]) and are subject to a late fee of $20 (waived for new families). Late individual class registrations and changes are often possible, but are at the discretion of the teacher and must also be done through the registrar. There is no extra fee for adding/dropping or changing classes, except for any additional class material fees.

(4)  Sign up for Parent Jobs using the Parent Job Grid

The Jobs Grid is found under the Class Registration menu. Make your selections from the Job Grid just as you did to register for classes. Click on the parent name for each job you choose. Assistants who have already been lined up by the teacher prior to registration will be entered for you. 

(5) Payment is due on or before the first day of classes.

Payment can be made by cash or check, or through paypal. Pals paypal ID is [email protected]

You are able to view when your clearances expire under your profile of this site. Double check your clearances will not expire during the upcoming term. If they will expire, you must renew them BEFORE term begins. If you are not sure if PALS has a copy of your clearances or if your clearances are current, please contact  [email protected]

(2) Check Family Profile

At the end of term, all members will be parked, meaning the accounts are inactive. We will reactivate accounts at the beginning of the registration period. You will receive an email when this happens prompting you to update your profile information. Make sure all your contact information is correct and you have the options selected you prefer for the coming term.

The family share fee of $135 will be automatically applied to your account. If you are paying per period ($45) it will be manually adjusted for you once registration has ended.
