It's essential to have chaperones to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment at Prom.

You will be be provdied with a break to eat dinner at some point thoughout the night. 

**Chaperone Guidelines for Enchanted Masquerade Prom:**

1. **Dress Code:**

- Chaperones are encouraged to dress in semi-formal attire to maintain the elegant atmosphere of the event. Wearing all black is an alternative as well.

- Comfortable footwear is recommended as chaperones may need to move around the venue.

2. **Arrival and Check-In:**

- Chaperones should arrive at the venue by 6 p.m. for a brief orientation and to familiarize themselves with emergency exits and event layout.

- Check in with the designated organizer upon arrival.

3. **Assigned Areas:**

- Chaperones will be assigned specific areas to monitor, ensuring even distribution throughout the venue.

- Regularly rotate to different areas to maintain vigilance.

4. **Communication:**

- Chaperones should have fully charged mobile phones for communication purposes.

- Report any concerns or incidents promptly to the designated event organizer.

5. **Crowd Observation:**

- Monitor crowd behavior to ensure a positive and respectful atmosphere.

- Intervene discreetly in case of any inappropriate behavior and report it immediately.

6. **Emergency Procedures:**

- Familiarize yourself with the venue's emergency exits and procedures.

- In case of an emergency, follow instructions from event organizers and assist attendees as needed.

7. **Alcohol and Substance Use:**

- Strictly enforce a zero-tolerance policy for alcohol and substance use among attendees.

- Report any suspicious behavior related to substance use immediately.

8. **Assist with Special Needs:**

- Be attentive to attendees with special needs and provide assistance as necessary.

- Communicate with event organizers if additional support is required.

9. **End-of-Event Procedures:**

- Ensure attendees start leaving the venue promptly at the designated closing time.

- Report any lost and found items to event organizers.

10. **Post-Event Clean-Up**:

-Chaperones will stay after the event concludes to assist with the clean-up process.

-Work collaboratively with the event organizers and venue staff to ensure a swift and efficient clean-up.

-Focus on tasks such as clearing tables, picking up trash, and organizing any materials used during the event.

-Demonstrate a positive and cooperative attitude, fostering a sense of community responsibility.

-Your support in the clean-up effort contributes to the overall success of the event and is greatly appreciated.
