Q:

Where is Anchor located?

A:

We are conveniently located in the heart of McDonough at 425 Lake Dow Road. New Creation Christian Academy has graciously allowed us to use their 100 building.

When you enter the property, take your first left. Go past the chapel and we are the next building. Enter through the double white doors under the portico.

Q:

Who can attend Anchor?

A:

Anchor provides classes for students in Kindergarten through 8th grades. We serve home school families and families using alternative schedules, such as online programs.

Is your program only open on Fridays?

A:

Yes.

Q:

How long do classes last? And what times do they start?

A:

All classes are 1 hour in length, except for robotics, which is 2 hours.

Classes start at 9:00 am, 10:00 am, and 11:00 am.

Q:

What times are drop off and pick up?

A:

Please drop students off approximately 5 minutes prior to their first scheduled class. Pick up is directly after their last class ends.

Where do I drop off and pick up my children?

A:

Carpool drop off and pick up take place under the portico in front of the double doors. A staff member will assist at both.

How can I join Anchor?

A:

Please fill out the Membership Request form by clicking on JOIN at the top of the home page.

$55 in Registration Fees will be due upon completion of the form. You will be granted access to the Class Registration page and other website features after registration fees have been collected and your membership has been approved.

Q:

Do you offer chapel? Who can come?

A:

Yes, we offer chapel and it is FREE! Students who are signed up for a 9:00 am class may attend.

Q:

What time is drop off for chapel?

A:

You can drop students off between 8:20 - 8:30 am for chapel.

Q:

Do I need to re-register or select new classes each semester?

A:

No, all classes are year long and are held from August - May.

Q:

Will I have an opportunity to watch my children perform or see their artwork?

A:

Yes, we have two Fine Arts Days per school year - one in December and one in May. All music students (group and private classes) will perform, and all students in Crafting or Art will display their pieces.

Q:

Is there a place for parents and siblings to hang out during the morning?

A:

No, we cannot provide space for this. We are a drop off program only.
