Blossom: The Discovery Center + Murfree Spring Wetlands Fieldstudy
The Discovery Center in Murfreesboro has two floors of hands-on play, along with some fish and turtle tanks, and a Lego room, and currently an adorable Storyland exhibit. The museum may be most engaging for maybe up to age 10, but those young-at-heart can no doubt have fun as well.
Then, Bonus!! The museum has scheduled us a guided wetland tour in the adjacent and lovely Murfree Spring Wetlands. It's teeming with wildlife even in the middle of Murfreesboro! Otters, beavers, herons, and so much more! You can view the spring behind the center, and walk the boardwalk clear to the far end.
Time: arrive early to picnic or explore the wetlands. Be there by 11:45 for our guided tour at Noon, then we're free to explore the museum inside until they close at 5pm.
Admission: The tour + admission is $10/student (discounted from $15) and $15/adult.
Deadline: March 11th for signups and payment.
Cancellations? Refunds are available if you have to cancel.
