Welcome!
We are a friendly community of Waldorf-inspired homeschoolers. Although each family approaches their homeschooling independently, as a group we particularly value these elements:
- a creative, low-media childhood
- plenty of time in nature, handwork, art and seasonal festivals
- cultivating supportive, consistent relationships
We meet primarily on Fridays in the Nashville area during the spring and fall semesters. Specific activities and classes are determined each year by the needs and desires of the families involved. While we welcome families with students of all ages, the current class ranges from toddlers to teens. As a parent-powered group, we invite each member to consider what he or she can contribute, as well as what they may gain by their participation.
Our Mission
We cultivate a community where children can grow in authenticity, imagination, and emotional safety. Aligned with traditional Waldorf principles, we honor childhood as a sacred season — protected, unhurried, and connected to nature, family, and meaningful rhythms.
We value goodness, balance, and wholesome experiences that nurture intuition, creativity, and a strong sense of self. Our group supports families who desire a low-tech, developmentally aligned, nature-centered environment with strong family connection, arts-integrated learning, and simple, intentional time together.
