Open to all Homeschooling and Homeschool Curious families:
Join us for a mini-camp day to experience a first-hand sampler of our homeschool co-op community! Two days, two different themes- choose one or both! July 31st + August 7th.
Event & Highlights:
9:30-10:00 Morning Check-in and Opening Movement Games
Art Class - enjoy a structured art class where your child can express themselves and bring home a beautiful work of art!
Handwork Circle - Learn a handwork skill and make your very own take home creation.
Community Lunch and Free Play
Wind & Willow Celebration Festival - welcoming the newschool year with movement, breath and renewal. In Waldorf education, the wind teaches children how to bend, dance and stay flexible, while the willow shows how strength comes from learning to move with life rather than resist it. Through gentle movement and play, children discover resilience, courage, and the freedom to begin again. During the Festival time, families will participate in creating a community banner, multiple arts and crafts takehomes, fun free play, and group closing.Come enjoy the summer light and take part in our
This special event camp day is designed to give families a true “sampler” of what our typical homeschool Root Day and seasonal festivals look like in our serene, park-like, Co-op meeting space. It’s a perfect opportunity for parents and children to enjoy a day of Creative Play and to experience our daily rhythms, structured lessons, and community celebrations before the Co-op officially begins for the year.
Ages: Activities are best suited to ages 5 to teens, though 3 and 4 year olds are welcome to participate with parental assistance.
Parents are required to stay and are encouraged to participate with their children throughout the day.
What to Bring: Packed lunch and drinks, Comfortable weather appropriate clothing and shoes for outdoors play and creating art.
Cost: $10 for first child, $5 each additional participating child. Due at signup, small processing fee added.
