Q: |
Do you celebrate seasonal Waldorf festivals? |

Yes. While how Waldorf-y our classes are varies, traditional seasonal Waldorf festivals quickly become beloved by even non-Waldorf families and have remained the backbone of our years. |
Q: |
How do I join? |
A: |
You can request to join from this website or email nashwaldorf@gmail.com and tell us a little bit about yourself. We like to chat with families ahead of time so that we can get to know each other and so that you can see whether or not the group is a good fit for your family and answer any questions we can about homeschooling in the Nashville area. |
Q: |
Are you Root & Blossom Nashville Homeschoolers, or Nashville Waldorf Homeschoolers? |
A: |
In 2024 we changed our group name to Root & Blossom Nashville Homeschoolers. While we are currently very much Waldorf-inspired, how much varies year to year depending on the families' needs. In order to not mislead, we chose to remove Waldorf from our name. Indeed, our focus on nature, outdoor play, handicrafts and the arts dovetails nicely with the Charlotte Mason philosophy as well! You may still encounter the NWH name occasionally in minor ways, as our transition to the new name has straggled a bit as we're all volunteer parents with our atention pulled many directions. You know the feeling! If you do notice the old name, it wouldn't hurt to bring it to our attention as a prompt. |
