Westside Enrichment Day

Enrichment Day is a cooperative effort on the part of C.H.E.S.S. homeschooling families who desire to work with other homeschooling families in the Body of Christ to enrich our children’s education. Classes will be coordinated, supervised, and led by homeschool parents. When children are present, a parent from that family must also be present in the building (unless prior arrangements have been made with the Support Team).

Enrichment Day is open to any interested CHESS family. Space is limited each term.

After Re-Enrollment, enrollment will be prioritized according to the order in which it is received - payment reserves your spot.

Winter 2024 | January 12 - March 15, 2024 | Cost: $60 per family ($75 after January 1), plus additional class fee if applicable

Classes will meet for 10 weeks on Fridays on the west side of Lansing.
We will have BOTH morning (9:30am-12noon) and afternoon (1:00-3:30pm) sessions.

Students will be divided into groups by age:
- Elementary students (K-5th) will rotate through 3 classes:
  - AM - Gym, Art, and Bible (AM will have a separate group for 4-5yo)
  - PM - Arts & Crafts, Gym, and Career Exploration
- Middle and High School students will attend Bible and will choose one of the following options:
  - AM - Around the World & Claymation
  - PM - All 6-12th students will attend Careers in Ministry and choose two of the following options:
    1. Gameschooling
    2. Photography
    3. Speech & Drama
We will also have rooms for preschool/nursery.
Parents will be assigned to a teaching team for the semester.
