Code of Conduct - WSCEC Spring Formal

Dress Code

Ladies - no dresses shorter than 2 inches above the knee.  Slits should also be no higher than 2 inches above the knee.

Gentlemen - please do not wear a hat (such as a baseball hat) or blue jeans

REMEMBER - this is a formal event so suits/tuxes and long dresses are recommended.

All Guests - do not wear any attire with suggestive language or images.

A reminder from our Member Expectations - Dress modestly and conservatively with shorts and skirts being longer than fingertip length and no midriff or cleavage showing.

Respectful and Responsible Behavior is Expected and Required

WSCEC expects all students to treat each other with respect, treat adults on site with respect, and treat our venue with respect.

Refrain from inappropriate language, body language, and hand gestures.

Keep Social Media Posts Respectful

When posting your photos after the dance on social media, avoid bullying and inappropriate language. This is a violation of our Code of Conduct.

Should you post something with any inappropriate content, you may be asked to take down your post.

Respectful Behavior Between Guests and Their Dates is Expected and Required

WSCEC expects guests who attend with dates to be considerate of other guests. We ask that couples refrain from excessive Public Displays of Affection (PDA).

Remember to leave room for the Holy Spirit

Keep Dancing Clean

When participating in dancing, guests are expected to refrain from provocative dancing. Additionally, moshing and body surfing are prohibited.

During the event, students must stay inside at the Lower Allen Barn or they will be asked to leave, and parents will be called if needed to come pick up.

All guests are expected to remain inside the Lower Allen Barn from the time they check in (6 PM, roughly) to the end of the event (9 PM).  The community park closes at dusk and we are not to be outside wandering around.

Smoking, chewing tobacco, e-cigs, and vaping are not allowed.

No Drinking

No Drugs

These things should obviously be apparent that they are not allowed/appropriate and WSCEC does not foresee an issue but WSCEC wants to make it clear that these things will not be tolerated.  Parents will be called immediately along with the authorities if need be.

Those in Violation:

Code of Conduct violators will be asked to leave the dance. WSCEC chaperones reserve the right to respond to any violations as they see fit. This may be removal from the property, or prohibiting violators from attending any other dance in the future.

I will . . .

- Abide by all the regulations of The Code of Conduct.

- Accept responsibility for any violations.

- Respectfully leave the property should I be caught in any violations.
