What do I need to know about co-op?

What is co-op? Co-op is an opportunity for homeschool students What are the fees? There is no additional registration fee for co-op. Some classes do have class fees, required curriculum and/ or supplies. These details can be found in the descriptions for the classes on the class schedule. Who teaches co-op classes? Co-op classes are taught by SLCC staff and volunteers. All teachers are background checked before the start of the school year. Is this a drop off? No. Axis is not a drop off. Parents/ guardians are required to stay on campus and serve in some capacity during the co-op day. As long as your child is here, so are you. What do you mean parents have to serve? All parents will be assigned jobs at the start of the year. Many hands make light work. You'll sign up for your preferred job in the family registration page, and our leadership team will do their best to assign that job to you... unless we need you some place else. :) |
