Mrs. Elizabeth Lorenzini To All Instructors

Mrs. Lorenzini has been part of the homeschooling community for 30 years! She a pioneer of homeschooling through high school and she helped establish the reputation that homeschooling through high school promotes long term success in higher education environments. Three of her children have graduated from Cedarville University, another from the U.S. Air Force Academy and her youngest is currently a middle schooler at HEARTS.  Now, because of families like hers, our students can apply to major colleges and universities and are not only accepted, but a preferred candidate in many cases! She knows what it takes to develop strong, autonomous students that are ready for the next level.

Elizabeth has had the opportunity to live and travel throughout the US and overseas as both her father and husband were serving careers in the military. This exposure has given her exciting real-life experience with World Geography and Cultures that she takes into the classroom. Her strong Christian faith guides her perspective as a teacher, and her love of learning is something she hopes to pass on to her students.

She will be in her second year on the HEARTS Steering Committee overseeing finances and her husband, Ed, serves on the HEARTS Board of Directors. They have been married for over 35 years and enjoy leading a bible study group together in their home, which they have held since 1985.

Mrs. Lorenzini attended the U.S. Air Force Academy as a Management Major and went on complete her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Wright State University. She has been a board certified CPA since 1986 and has held multiple Board of Director positions for several Christian organizations.

Her hobbies include closely following politics, quilting, sewing, knitting, cross-stitching, baking, and reading.
