Weather Policy

Should Loudoun County Public Schools announce any school closures or delays, based on their roadway safety assessments, HEARTS will operate on the following schedules:

School Delays:
HEARTS will open at the regular time for a 1-2 hour LCPS delay.

Closures:
HEARTS has allotted one snow day per semester. The first snow day closure made by LCPS, our classes will be canceled.

HEARTS will operate virtually for any additional weather-related closures beyond that.

We will do our best to post updates on the HEARTS Facebook page by 7AM, the morning of. We also recommend each family sign up to receive texts from LCPS for delays and closings at https://www.loudoun.gov/alert. Please check your HEARTS' email for updates as well.
