We are so glad your family is considering Shanan Co-op!

Most of the documents referenced below will be made available during our open registration process from February to April. 

Application Requirements:

1. Visit Shanan Co-op.

To schedule a visit day at Shanan, please contact shanan.newfamily@gmail.com.

2. Homeschool at least one child *Kindergarten or older *(age 5 by 9/30/2026)

3. Regularly attend a local church

4. Read and agree to the Shanan Co-op Handbook (available during the application window)

5. Hold a current registration with an Umbrella School (required by state)

6. Complete the membership application by the deadline.  

7. Submit personal testimony by the parents.

8. Give at least 2 personal references from your church.

9. Pay registration fees in full.
