Wild Ridge Plants is a native plant nursery located in New Jersey, serving the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and beyond. We offer our plants retail via mail order and pick up at our farm. Our plant selection includes potted native wildflowers, shrubs, trees, ferns, grasses and sedges Our live container plants are nursery-propagated by us from local ecotype open-pollinated seeds and naturally grown in an organic potting mix.
We also offer botanical surveys, ecological restoration consulting, and educational workshops.
Wild Ridge Plants is a family-run nursery that propagates and grows over 100 species of native plants – right here on our farm in rural New Jersey. We, Jared Rosenbaum and Rachel Mackow, are an egalitarian husband and wife team on our farm.
Together, we run the day-to-day operations of the nursery. We do it all – collecting local eco-type seed, potting up plants, and hauling bales of soil. We also answer all your calls and pack/ship your plants. Our hands are in the dirt, and we like it that way!
