Hi, I’m Jessica Rice — a photographer, storyteller, and mom of three who discovered the magic of photography in a mud hut in Burkina Faso. While studying abroad in college, I picked up my first DSLR and realized my camera could do more than take pictures — it could tell stories people could feel. That moment changed everything. Since then, I’ve been chasing light, laughter, and love all over the world as a professional photographer. From weddings and families to corporate shoots, it’s been the greatest honor to be invited into some of life’s most meaningful moments — and to preserve them in a way that lasts.

In a world where our phones do all the thinking for us, I believe in putting the phones away and picking up real cameras. Photography has taught me how to slow down, look closer, and truly see. It’s a deep dive into the art of noticing and creating. My goal, whether I’m shooting a destination wedding or teaching a student how to adjust their aperture, is to make it hands-on, fun, and full of moments where everything just clicks (pun absolutely intended). Beyond the lens, I’m passionate about planning over-the-top kids’ parties, mastering the perfect sourdough, long beach days, ice cold tea (I'm a southern girl at heart), and exploring the world with my husband and our three little adventurers.
