Hello future Bitcoiners…I’m Casey Ward and I will be your passionate go-to guide for explaining the mysteries of Money, Bitcoin, and everything in between!

So I’m a local San Diegan and have lived here in paradise my entire life. I currently call Carlsbad my home, and the Village is my backyard. I played Football and ran Track my entire life, and I coached both sports in middle school & high school for 10+ years. Coaching was one of my favorite experiences.

One thing I need to disclose is that I’m an opinionated foodie. One example of this is that Dark Chocolate is the only chocolate. Another one is that pineapple IS allowed on pizza. I know that is a controversial take, but look I can’t control what my tastebuds love. Sorry. Don’t @ me!

I’m also constantly listening to music. I was raised on old school hip-hop, but I also love marinating on Lord Huron, the California Honeydrops, Khruangbin, The Avett Brothers, Steel Pulse, or my Classy Dinner playlist. My guilty pleasure is 90’s R&B or the Biebs….Shhhh

My dream is to go to culinary school one day and master knife skills, chopping, sauces, seasoning, and learn all the scientific methods for baking. My follow-up dream is to open a bakery that will be rooted in the local community culture. And yes, this bakery will run on a Bitcoin standard.

I’m also scared to death of horses. Majestic? Yes. But are they also terrifying beasts that if they decided to go ape there’s nothing you can do to control them??? Absolutely! The last time I was in a paddock my head was on a swivel.

Last thing. Culture drives everything. When you have a solid culture you can accomplish so much more. You can see this is families, work environments, sports teams, and the same is true for the classroom. My classroom will have a culture where I believe your kids will “Thrive”. Come find out…
