Q: What is CFS (Christian Family School) Escondido?
A: CFS Escondido is a local support group made up of homeschooling families that want to encourage, support one another, and share the gospel.
We offer social activities, field trips, and enrichment classes (Co-op) for Nursery through High School homeschool families. Most of our families live in North County, with a lot of our activities taking place near Escondido.
Membership
Q: What are the qualifications for Membership?
A: CFS Escondido is a member-only organization.
Members express a personal faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior as the only means of forgiveness for our sins.
Members express full acknowledgment and agreement with the STATEMENT OF FAITH & CODE OF CONDUCT.
Members must be homeschooling their children in one of the following ways:
- Homeschooling through a local charter school.
- Filing a Private School Affidavit through the CDE.
- Enrolling in a Private School Satellite Program (PSP)
- Homeschooling via instruction by a private tutor.
Co-op Class Day
Q: What grade levels do you have classes for?
A: Enrichment classes are offered for learners from Nursery age through High School.
Q: Is this a drop off event?
A: No, class day is not a drop off event. All students must have a parent or guardian on campus to ensure a safe and supervised environment.
Q: Is there an additional cost required to participate in Class Day?
A: Yes, a separate fee is required for participation and is not included in membership dues. This helps cover facility rental and class supplies.
