About Us

Christian Family Schools of San Diego Escondido (CFS Escondido) is a nonprofit organization. We serve the Christian homeschool (PSA, PSP, and Charters) and families of San Diego and surrounding areas like Escondido. Our members subscribe to our STATEMENT OF FAITH and agree to abide by our CODE OF CONDUCT. 

In 2004 a group of homeschooling families joined together to organize Christian Family Schools of San Diego. Their goal was to create a large group focusing on educational enrichment and community with local chapters throughout San Diego County. Today the mission of the group is very much the same.

Our mission is to encourage, inform, support, and build up a community of private Christian home-educating families and those homeschooling through a charter school.

Our purpose is to encourage families at every stage of their homeschooling journey by providing information about local homeschool laws and answering questions about curriculum and organization. We also seek to support our families by offering educational opportunities such as field trips, co-op classes, and more. Finally, we provide a community of like-minded families to walk this journey together. In all that we do, we strive to bring honor to the Lord.
