When you choose to register, you are registering to join us in our classes for Co-op. Once registered for classes, you are invited to join us for field trips and other group activities.

Truthfully, the price changes a little each semester, but we pay a per family price. Families with 1 student pay on average $35 and families of multiple students pay on average $50.

Our classes occur on the odd numbered Fridays (1^st, 3^rd, and 5^th) of the month from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, September through December, and then again from January through the end April/ beginning of May.  There are typically 7 class days per semester.

Our classes are mother-led, so they often change semester by semester. The number of classes and topics vary based on the qualifications and willingness of moms to teach specific courses.  To see what classes are being held this semester or the next, click on the Class Registration tab.

Moms are required to contribute substantively to the operation of EWHS. We try to assign instructors to positions of teaching/co-teaching in classes according to their gifts and interests.

* Our Co-op is not a drop–off format.

* Assistance may include preparing materials, facilitating a class activity, and/or classroom behavior management.

* Share a positive attitude, be supportive and encouraging to the other moms and children in the classes you are in.

* Interact with and get to know other kids! They need to know our generation is watching them, aware of them, and cares about them.

* Set-up and clean up tasks are a part of each co-op class day. Please be prepared to assist as needed.

* We are a mom’s group, so moms (or a female guardian) should be the primary attendee with their children.

We are a mom’s group, so moms (or a female guardian) should be the primary attendee with their children. 

However, dads are invited and encouraged to attend our special events, such as field trips, parties (Back-to-Homeschool, Christmas, and Valentine's), drama performances, graduation/field day, family showcase, and orientation day.

Field trips and class parties (Christmas and Valentine's Day) are usually once a month on either the 2nd or 4th Friday.  Depending on the event, they can be either in the morning or the afternoon.  All field trips, parties, and other special events are optional; however class participation is not optional.

In order to build and promote unity within our group and be inclusive of families with different beliefs, we ask that participants understand that teaching and leadership within the co-op will be in accordance with these statements and be respectful of the Christian faith.

1. The Bible - We believe the Bible is the inspired and living Word of God. That it is inerrant in all matters concerning salvation. The Bible is the divine and final authority in all areas of faith and life. We believe the truth contained within is valid for all people, across all time, place, condition and relationships and serves as the guide for righteous living.

2. God - We believe God is the eternally existent Creator of all things. That he is revealed to us in the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is one God, revealed in three parts.

3. Jesus - We believe that Jesus exists fully God and fully man. Born of the Virgin Mary, he led a sinless life, culminating in death on the cross, burial and bodily resurrection for the atonement of the sins of all mankind.

4. Humankind - We believe all of humankind is God’s precious creation, made in His very own image and yet, we have a problem. We have fallen into sin, which is not tolerated by God and are in need of a Savior. By placing one’s faith in Jesus Christ, we can be saved.

5. Salvation - God’s salvation plan is the solution to Man’s sin problem. God sent Jesus to die on the cross. His shed blood fully paid for all human sin and is sufficient for all who believe on Jesus Christ and receive him as Lord and Savior.

6. Holy Spirit - We believe the Holy Spirit is presently active in the Church to: glorify Jesus, convict man of personal sin, and subsequently live in us, guide, instruct and empower us for Godly living and service.

7. Unity of Believers - As a community, confessing Jesus Christ as Lord and being called together through the Word of God, we strive to cooperate with each other, bearing each other’s differences with loving kindness and patience.

8. Response to Sin - We believe that each one is personally accountable to God for their sin and will give an account at life’s end. We also believe it is our responsibility as parents to guard the hearts and minds of our children from the waves of cultural sin that affect our communities and the world at large.
