Dr. Nadine Thola To All Instructors

Mrs. Thola has 40 years of art teaching experience in iconography, painting, mixed
media, jewelry, and calligraphy. Her degrees are Doctor of Education: Curriculum and
Instruction, Liberty University; Master of Interdisciplinary Studies (MIS) in jewelry and
sculpture, VA Commonwealth University (VCU); BA in graphic design, magna cum
laude, University of MD-Baltimore County (UMBC) and currently maintains an art studio
at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton, VA. She and her husband are in Alexandria
while her son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren live in PA. She has taught Insect/Art,
art for various ages, iconography, and saints at SNAC for 3 years but not consecutively
(due to taking time off for degree).
