Mrs. Katie Supples To All Instructors

Katie is an Orthodox Christian and member of Nativity. A homeschool mom to two elementary age boys, she runs several local businesses. Supples Writes, a contractual writing business (bios, press releases, articles etc.) and J&J Jams: a micro bakery, specializing in sourdough and pie along with jams and jellies. J&J Jams holds several ribbons for jams and pie. She also loves learning along with her children, following whatever interests they lead her to. Katie is a Stafford native who enjoys photography and reading in her spare time. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration.

Teaching Style: Katie tends to try to find a way to engage the students in visual, audio, and hands on learning for each topic covered so that they retain the concepts. She also finds it boring for the them to be required sit still and listen to her talk. As a result, she likes to give the students opportunities to actively participate in the lesson. She also loves food. Therefore, it can be found worked into many of her classes
