Mrs. Katie Supples To All Instructors

Katie is an Orthodox Christian and active member of Nativity. She holds an MBA from Liberty University and has extensive experience in the federal government’s financial regulatory sector, as well as on Capitol Hill. After five years of homeschooling and teaching in the homeschool community, she enjoys using a variety of teaching styles to reach and engage all types of learners.

When she isn’t teaching, taxiing, or supporting her kiddos in their extracurriculars, Katie stays busy running several businesses and serving her homeschool community.

Teaching Style: Katie tends to try to find a way to engage the students in visual, audio, and hands on learning for each topic covered so that they retain the concepts. She also finds it boring for the them to be required sit still and listen to her talk. As a result, she likes to give the students opportunities to actively participate in the lesson. She also loves food. Therefore, it can be found worked into many of her classes
