Program Tuition and Fees

SNAC 2023-2024 Tuition and Fees (Last Revised 7/18/23)

Annual/up-front Fees:

  • New Family Registration $350 due at registration

  • Returning Family Registration Fee: $250 ($350 after May 31)*

  • Family Facility Fee (based on day(s) registered): due September 11, 2023 *Tuesday-~$125; Thursday-~$125; Wednesday-~$90

    • *These are non-refundable

 

Annual Volunteer Commitments Required

Each family must volunteer (without discount) in at least two ways:

  • Commit to one small job to benefit the community (or pay $300 non-participation fee)

  • Adopt one room to clean every Thursday afternoon (if leaving prior to 3 pm, contact the director and cleaning coordinator) (or pay $240 non-cleaning fee)

Annual Tuition Costs (Below 8th grade)—(Note, these can be heavily discounted for volunteering):

  • Nursery (~1-2yo): Available for children under preschool age, at no cost, while parent is teaching

  • Preschool (~2-4yo): $150 for 1 day/week; $300 for 2-days/week *for on-site volunteers only

  • Primary (~K-1): $300 for 1 day/week; $600 for 2-days/week *for on-site volunteers only

  • Elementary (~1-3rd), Grammar (~3-5th), and Intermediate (~5-7th) $400 for 1 day/week; $800 for 2-days/week 

*Charged by the day, regardless of number of classes taken. Children 10 and under may not attend Study Hall and must be picked up or supervised by parent if not in a class

*4th+ lowest priced children in a family are a $100 supply fee (no tuition)

 

A-la-Carte Classes (Jr & Sr High):

  • Junior/Senior High Classes (~7-12th): $100/60 min class; $75/45 min class

*Refundable if dropped within 1st month of classes (minus amount SNAC spent for that student’s supplies)

*No tuition for Bible and Hymns/Chants classes, nor for “Homework” or “Play” sessions on Wednesdays

**Jr/Sr High students are welcome to take Intermediate classes at $80/60 min. class; $60/45 min. class; $40/30 min class

**5% discount if full tuition is paid by September 12, 2023. Possibly payment plans by request/approval.

 

Supply and Lab Fees

Check the individual course descriptions for associated lab or supply fees (non-refundable once supplies are purchased). Examples include:      

  • Anatomy or Physics Lab fee $35 per student

  • Preschool and Kindergarten supply fee $10 per student

  • Elementary/Grammar Art and Handicrafts supply fee $30 per student

 

Textbooks and Workbooks

SNAC owns the reusable textbooks and readers, which students can borrow for the year for the classes they take. The cost of workbooks is not included in tuition and parents will need to purchase their child’s workbook if it is required by the teacher (indicated in class description on the Class Registration page).

 

Annual Volunteer Discount Opportunities (after fulfilling required tasks): 

For each weekly commitment of 1 hour (*prorated for partial hours)

  • Teaching in Jr. High or Sr. High (Gr. 8-12) - $450

  • Teaching in Intermediate or Grammar (Gr. 3-7) - $350

  • Teaching in Elementary, Primary, or Preschool (Presch-2nd grade) - $200

  • Nursery - $100

  • Assisting in class, Hall/Playground/Lunch Monitor - $60

  • Wednesday Help - $40

  • Room Cleaning after 3:30 P.M. - $30 per assigned day

  • Bookkeeping or Webmaster - $450 each (might be divided by multiple people)
