SALT is where students and families shine and learn together. We are a community. Each family is encouraged to regularly attend our activities throughout the year. It is our desire to walk this homeschool journey together, offering encouragement, support, and friendship to each other along the way.

How do you become a member of SALT? Follow these simple steps!

Step 1: Carefully read through all documents to ensure SALT is a good fit for your family and that you agree with and are willing to abide by the policies and procedures set forth.

Step 2: Complete the SALT and GCC liability waivers.

Please complete ONE waiver for your entire family. List ALL family members on both forms.

Step 3: Complete the Family Profile form below!

PLEASE include ALL of your children in your family profile, even the ones not yet school aged and/or currently not being homeschooled.

Step 4: Add lifeline@homeschool-life.com as a safe sender in your email!

This is an important step to ensure you recieve all communications from SALT in a timely manner.

Step 5: Pay the fees.

SALT’s annual membership fee for the 2024/25 school year is $140 and entitles the member and their immediate family as listed in this application access to all events, activities and services provided by SALT. Such services and activities may have addtional fees associated with them. New members will be assessed a $100 new member registration fee in addition to the annual membership dues.

RENEWAL: Membership Renewal Fees are due on an annual basis and must be paid within the membership renewal period. All Membership Renewal Fees are due no later than March 31st and must be paid to SALT via invoice through this website. Any member who has not paid by 4/1 will be assessed a $20 late fee. After 4/30, current member renewal will close and any members wishing to return must pay the $100 new member fee in addition to the $140 annual dues.

Those who have not met the volunteer requirement as of Dec 31 will not be allowed to have their child participate in future events until the requirement is met via Buyout payment. Those who have not met the volunteer requirements for the second semester (January - May) will not be allowed to participate in the end of year Water Day Party. I understand that failure to fulfill the volunteer requirement will affect in my family's ability to participate in activities. Yes, I agree.
