How much does membership cost? |

Soaring High membership is $50 per year and is not prorated. A membership year is from June 1 to May 31. Families are welcome to join anytime throughout the year. |

What are the benefits of being a member of Soaring High? |

Soaring High activities and events vary from year to year depending on the families involved. If there is an activity you would like to see offered or have a gifting you'd like to share with the group, we encourage our members to make it happen! Some of the activities and offerings may include: - Website access to calendar of events and resources - Discount rate for Home School Legal Defense Association membership - Free and discounted field trips (please note that any admission fees to individual field trip locations are NOT included in your dues) - Family potlucks/picnics - Parent support activities (Moms night out, parent equipping events, etc.) - Gym days - Unstructured play dates - Service projects - Used curriculum sale/exchange - Yearbook - High school classes |

Can I pick and choose which events I attend? |

Absolutely! For events that require an RSVP, you will be able to do that via our website. Please note some events might require a pre-payment. If that is the case, we will clearly note on the registration that your pre-payment will not be refundable, and your payment will not be refunded to you if we have already paid the facility for your admission. |

Can I come check out Soaring High before requesting membership? |

Yes! We hold field trips frequently. Please contact us to find out about our upcoming events. You and your children are welcome to join us for an event to see if Soaring High would be a good fit for your family. |

How do I join Soaring High? |
A: |
Carefully read through all the information on the "About Us" page so that you are familiar with our beliefs and expectations. Request membership here. We will review your application, and then you will receive an email after a determination has been made. If your membership request is approved, you will receive a separate email with your annual dues invoice, which you can pay via PayPal through our website WITHIN SEVEN DAYS. If payment is not received within seven days, your account will be "parked" and you will not have access to the website or be able to attend any Soaring High events. Please let us know if you are not able to send payment via PayPal and alternative arrangements can be made. |

Do you offer scholarships? |

We don't want cost to keep anyone from participating in our co-op. Scholarships are given on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the admin team at soaringhighpetoskey@gmail.com to inquire about a scholarship.
