Code of Conduct - 2026-27

Code of Conduct

1. Parents and students will act in a way that honors Soaring High Christian Homeschool Group’s Statements of Mission and Faith (as found on the webpage).
2. Parents and students will act and speak in such a way that promotes unity.
3. Parents and students will avoid gossip and strive to deal with concerns directly according to the model found in Matthew 18.
4. Parents and students will not engage in threatening or obscene language.
5. Parents and students will not engage in threatening or offensive physical contact.
6. Parents and students will be respectful of everybody at all times.
7. Parents and students will respect and take care of the physical property of Walloon Lake Community Church when on campus for events.
8. Parents and students will dress in a way that is not immodest, distracting or drawing undue attention to themselves.
9. If participating in classes, parents and students will strive to be on time for classes and to not miss more than 3 classes per semester, other than for illness or emergency, without making arrangements with the instructor(s).
10. Cell phone use for students in classes and at Soaring High events is not permitted.  Please keep them out of sight and put away.
11. Students will practice active listening and participation while in classes and at events.
12. Parents and students will share in the needs of the coop by having a family member participate as a volunteer.
13. Parents and students will abide by this Code of Conduct while engaged in any activity (field trip, etc.) organized by Soaring High Christian Homeschool Group.
14. I have reviewed this Code of Conduct with each of my children. I understand that whether a particular behavior violates the Code of Conduct is at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors, who has the right to end my child’s/children’s participation in Soaring High Christian Homeschool Group with no refund due to failure to comply with any or all of these rules.
