Fill out the form below and click the Continue button at the bottom.

Welcome to Splendid Homeschool Academy!  We are so thrilled that you've decided to partner with us to create a beautiful, strong and academically rich program for our children.  Please read through the following information, as your enrollment will serve as your agreement to our policies and principles.

For the 2025-2026 school year, Splendid will offer a full core curriculum spine for PreK 3 to 10th grade.  Parents are responsible for providing the required curriculum for the duration of the year.  All students attend Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM.  We do not offer before or after care.  We expect children to be picked up promptly at 3:00 PM and children may not be left unsupervised prior to 9:20 AM.  Our academic year is 58 days, divided into 4 quarters.

Christian World-View

Splendid is a faith- based, non-denominational Christian program. Registering your child demonstrates your understanding and agreement that the curriculum is written with a Biblical worldview and a non-denominational approach.  We agree to defer to parents as the primary educator and authority of their own children and will attempt to direct any specific denominational questions back to the family.  However, children will be exposed to prayer, scripture recitation and basic Biblical principles, along with a curriculum that supports high character, faith, nature and creativity.

Behavior and Morality

We support and celebrate the unique nature and personality of each child and cannot tolerate demeaning language directed towards a child or volunteer.  If a child demonstrates concerning behavior or doesn't function well in a group setting, we may ask the parent to accompany the child throughout the day for a specified amount of time.  Behavioral concerns that may require intervention include, but are not limited to the following:  the use of profanity, aggressive behavior towards students or volunteers, excessive classroom disruptions, excessive rough play, hitting, biting or kicking, causing intentional or unintentional property damage, making perceived threats through words, gestures or drawings, repeated or targeted insults, leaving an assigned group or area without permission and misuse of the elevator or fire alarm.  Behavioral interventions may include:  discussion and redirection, being accompanied by a parent, the creation of a behavior plan, being picked up early, daily or weekly suspension and removal from the program.  The use of alcohol, drugs, cigarettes and vapes are prohibited on campus and on field trips.  Any student use of alcohol, drugs, vapes or unprescribed medication is grounds for expulsion. Students may not have a weapon of any kind, including pocket knives.  We reserve the right to remove a child at our discretion, at any time, without explanation.

We agree as a community to be a place of wholesome and nurturing support, while also helping children to develop good habits and virtues.  Above all else, we seek to follow the greatest commandment to "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your mind...and love your neighbor as yourself." -Matthew 22:37-39  We agree to treat each other with kindness and temper disagreements with grace.  As a loving community and model to our children, we agree to refrain from gossip and hurtful behavior.  This includes sharing personal or sensitive information about a child with other parents.  Any concerns should be brought to the child's parent, their primary tutor and the Splendid director.  As the saying goes, "it takes a village" and we are so proud of the Splendid community and agree to protect the spirit and intentions.

Financial Commitment

Furthur, by registering you agree to make a financial commitment for the 2025-2026 school year.  This includes:

Annual family registration fee-  $225 per family

Annual Student Tuition-  $560 per student, payable in 10 monthly payments of $56 from August 2025 to May 2026.  Semester and quarterly payment options are also available.

We cannot offer a discounted rate due to absences or an act of God, such as adverse weather that may force us to cancel a class day.  For weather-related closures, we will follow the decision of North East ISD.

Parents will also supply the items listed on the student and family supply list.

All financial decisions are based on the expectation that the full tuition amount is received for each student.  If you wish to remove your student before the end of the school year, 30 days notice is required so that a waiting list family can take your place.  If your student is removed after the 3rd quarter, they will not be replaced and therefore, monthly tuition will continue to be collected through May 2026.

Tuition is due on the 1st of each month via an emailed invoice, without demand.  If a student's tuition payment becomes more than 30 days past due, that student will be removed from the program until tuition is current.  All registration and tuition payments are non-refundable.

Volunteer Requirement

Splendid is a volunteer-run homeschool program.  Each registered family agrees to serve a minimum of 90 hours per year.  This is equivalent to 1 quarter of the academic year + 1 additional substitute day.  These hours may be served as full days or split into half or quarter days.  If families cannot commit to the volunteer requirement, they may pay the opt-out fee of $18 per hour.  This fee of $1,584 will be divided over 10 monthly payments, which adds $154.80 to the monthly tuition payment from August 2025- May 2026.  Tutor assignments will be based on our needs and with heavy consideration given to a tutor's preferred grade level, subject, schedule, talents and availability.

Age and Grade Level

Please place your child in the grade level that you feel is appropriate for their age and ability.  The grade level that you indicate will be their primary grade, regardless if they move between grade levels for a specific subject.  Toddler care is available for 1-3 yr olds, only while their parent serves on campus.  There is no drop-off option or tuition fee for toddlers.   A child who turns 3 by September 1st, should be enrolled in PreK 3 and may not be eligible for toddler care. Tuition applies to all students beginning with PreK 3.  If you are new to our program, we highly suggest using the placement tests found at https://www.goodandbeautiful.com/placement-tests/ and place your child accordingly.
