 AHN basics:

  • Classes offered for students 5th - 12th grade. Sibling classes available for younger kids.

  • Registration fee is $100 per family. Class fees vary by subject/Instructor

  • Parents of K-8th graders are required to be at co-op with their children but are NOT required to teach.

  • Each family has support jobs such as vacuuming a classroom, cleaning up tables etc.

  • There are 5 one-hour class sessions plus lunch/recess. You choose which classes are right for your children.

  • You do not have to attend all 5 class periods.

Our mission is to provide educational classes for families who seek support to provide a christ-centered education for their children that is anchored in God’s truth. We strive to create an atmosphere of community, accountability and excellence. These classes are not intended to replace homeschooling or to relieve the necessity of parental supervision. Rather, they seek to help provide instruction in areas in which the parent may not have expertise and to provide a quality classroom experience for students. Our hope is that those who participate in AHN are blessed by friendships, fellowship, and learning opportunities.

Statement of Faith

  • We believe the Bible, consisting of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired and infallible Word of God and constitutes His completed and final revelation to man. As such, there are no extra -biblical texts inspired by God with equal authority to the Bible itself.

  • We believe God has existed from all eternity in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

  • We believe that Jesus Christ was God come in human flesh being fully God and fully man, except without sin.

  • We believe the central purpose of Jesus Christ’s incarnation was to pay the penalty for man's sin through His substitutive death on the cross, the successful accomplishment of which was attested to by His subsequent visible, bodily resurrection.

  • We believe Jesus Christ to be the Son of God and that salvation is found by faith in Him alone.

  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: those who are saved to the resurrection of life and those who are lost to the resurrection of destruction.

  • We believe marriage is God’s design and the union of one man and one woman.

  • We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God.

  • We hold as belief and conviction that children are given by God as a stewardship to the parent and not the state. We believe parents have the authority to teach and educate their own children.
