Responsibilities of Membership

• Members are responsible first and foremost for the education of their own children, a God-given and sacred duty. St. Joseph the Worker Homeschool Group exists to support and assist parents’ primary work of forming their children in Christian virtue.
• Members are expected to abide by the SJWHG Member Handbook and all other rules and expectations for the safety and privacy of our members.
• Additionally, each member family has the responsibility to volunteer for at least TWO SJW Homeschool Group events (at least one of which must be a HG sponsored event) per annum in order to more equitably distribute the labor involved in running this volunteer-led homeschool group. • Lastly, annual dues (covering operating expenses) should be paid in a timely fashion each year. For 2025-2026, annual dues are $25 per family. No family will be turned away for inability to pay dues; families may request to substitute additional volunteer service in place of annual dues.
