Requirements
- Create a CCHC Family account on our website
- Sign 4 family forms. After logging in, click "Profile" at the very top of the page, and the links to sign all 4 forms will be at the very top of your profile.
- Complete a background check. Rehoboth and CCHC are now requiring every adult who attends CCHC Co-op to have a background check. The link is https://ministryopportunity.org/CCHC
- Parents will teach, co-teach, or volunteer for each hour of co-op attendance.
- Fellowship for Moms hour is only offered when we have an abundance of families registered. A mom can choose one of the volunteer hours. We ask for a $15 donation per semester if you choose a fellowship hour. This money is donated to Rehoboth's weekly groceries ministry.
- Co-op Duties- Each family is required to complete a co-op duty each semester. Most duties take place before &/or after co-op, such as setting up classrooms, emptying trash, providing childcare, checking bathrooms, and organizing name tags, among other things. We also offer the co-op duty of planning field trips and events. CCHC offers 2 families to opt out for $50. This $50 goes towards the general fund. CCHC Co-op requires significant assistance with setup and teardown to make the co-op possible. You can choose to serve a duty or pay the opt-out fee instead.
High School Students
- A new CCHC HS program has been formed. This includes weekly CORE classes, HS student drop-off, and an opportunity for teens to plan events.
- HS students will still have plenty of options at our twice/month co-op if you are not interested in the weekly classes.
- If you have any questions or would like to teach a future CORE class, please contact Tatum Minor & Moria Stoll here using the subject "Teacher 4 CORE Classes."
CCHC Board-initiated Changes
- Co-teachers will no longer be able to register early with teachers. Unfortunately, we had a significant issue with classes/nursery filling up before teachers had a chance to register. Therefore, this privilege should be reserved exclusively for the lead teachers only. Special circumstances in certain classes necessitate a team of lead teachers (e.g., Preschool, Hatchet, etc.). If you are planning a class like this, please message the board privately.
Your CCHC Website Account
- Please ensure that your family information on your website Account is up to date. If you know anyone who wants to join our cooperative this year, please encourage them to create their family account on our website as soon as possible.
Bathroom Policy
Preschool children (ages 3-5) will be escorted and assisted in the restrooms as needed. In all other classes, the teacher or helper will stand outside the bathroom and help the younger students if necessary. The number of hall monitors has been increased to assist with restroom monitoring. Please ensure that no accidents occurred in the bathroom before returning to your class.
Door Policy
All doors will remain locked after the start of each co-op meet. A welcome table helper will let families in the door as needed.
Other Items
- Have a field trip in mind? Please get in touch with us! The Board needs help with getting those planned. It can be as simple as a day at the park or beach, or a trip to the museum, and so on.
- Pray with us! Join us in praying over our CCHC co-op. We hope to continue to strengthen our homeschool community!
