1. Statement of Faith

Conservative Christian Homeschool Community (C.C.H.C.) is a Christian based homeschool group. The goal of this community is bringing the greater Cadillac area homeschool families together to participate in an organized co-op and other fellowship opportunities in a safe and godly environment.

Since we are a Christian group, it is our expectation for our families and teachers to represent themselves in a respectful manner that brings honor to Christ.
In order to maintain a cohesive body with similar standards and morals, we ask that each participating family agree and sign our statement of faith.

We believe that “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2Timothy 3:16-17). Also, “Knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.” (2 Peter 1:20-21). We hold these as truths:
• There is one God who exists as three persons. (Matthew 28:19; John 10:30; 1 Corinthians 8:6; John 14:9-11)
-The Father, the Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth. (Genesis 1; Ephesians 4:6) -Jesus Christ the Son, who died for our sins, rose again, and will return. (John 3:16; John 14:1-4; Matthew 28:6)
-The Holy Spirit: Helper, Comforter, and Guide. (John 14:26)
• The acceptance of Jesus Christ is the only path to salvation and eternal life. (John 3:16; Romans 10:9-10)
• All believers, regardless of denomination, are a part of the same church and family of God and should strive for spiritual unity. (Philippians 2:1-4; Ephesians 4:3-6; 1 Corinthians 12:4-6; Romans 12:16; Psalm 133:1)
• Marriage is intended by God to be a lifelong relationship between a man and a woman. (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6)
• We are fearfully wonderfully made in God’s image. He intentionally created persons as distinctly female or male and each of the two sexes as a gift. This gender designation by God is irrefutable. (Psalm 139:13-14; Genesis 5:2; Genesis 1:27) Yes, I agree
