  • Families must attend both an interest meeting and open house for the school year in which they are applying.
  • The same parent must attend each week.

Priority will be given to long time homeschooling stay-at-home moms who live in Caldwell County.

Joining Process

The interest meeting will introduce you to our group and go over our guidelines and policies. We will introduce the term leaders then go over the handbook together, then we will address questions and concerns as time permits. This meeting is for parents only, please make other arrangements for your children. Dad is welcome to attend with you, but not instead of you. If a makeup meeting is needed due to illness, we will attempt to schedule it after all are recovered.

After the interest meeting you will have a week to decide if our group is a good fit for your family and submit an application. Once we have received your application, open house details will be sent to you.

The open houses are an opportunity for you and your children to meet some of our group members and observe a typical gathering of our group. They will be held for the entire first month of the term. You are encouraged to attend all open houses, but dad may only attend with you once. Bring a picnic blanket, towel, or chair to sit on, lunch (or snack if you eat early), and plenty of water.

After the open houses, leaders will discuss the applicants and notify families of their acceptance individually. Accepted families will pay the term fee and gain website access.

Note on acceptance: We hope to add all interested families that meet our requirements and follow our code of conduct, whether it be this term or a future term. We do not have set limits for particular ages or even number of families. We consider how the past term felt, and how the open houses feel and decide accordingly. Please understand that since this group is all about fellowship and friendship, our top priority is group harmony. Occasionally, interested families just don't connect, and while we wish these families well, we do reserve the right to deny either acceptance to the group or returning for another term.
