Q:

What is the Quest Visitor Policy?

A:

VISITORS

  • We are not a drop-off co-op. The visitor policy is designed as a way for friends and family who are staying with a current Quest member during co-op days to visit and enjoy the time they are together.

  • Quest is not designed to have drop-in visitors.

  • Child visitors are welcome to attend Quest for one day. Please help the visitor to understand that the teachers may not have enough supplies, and if possible, give the teachers a heads up before the day of.

  • There is a $5 fee per visitor, and visitors can only attend one time during a semester.

  • Notification to the appropriate board member (Jr. or Scholar) would be necessary so we know that there will be extra faces there. A quick text is sufficient.

  • Occasionally, there will be 4th-hour classes open to guests by invitation.

  • Alumni are welcome to visit for lunch with parent supervision.

  • Adult visitors may be invited by the board to tour and interview while we are in session.  This helps them and us to determine if we are a good fit for each other, and to see what the classes are like. After the tour, visitors may choose to stay and observe various classes and aspects more thoroughly on their own.
